The fully-fenced, 288 square metre dog park includes two separate areas, one for small dogs (limited to dogs 14kg and under) and the other for all dogs. Features include agility equipment such as a tug-of-war, logs, expansive open spaces including earth mounds and tunnels, dual-use water fountains for humans and canines, shelter and seating. Puppies under the age of six months are not permitted.

The design capitalises on existing mature trees, with its location in the middle of Jo Gapper Activity Park making it easily accessible by bike or foot and within easy distance from the car park.

To ensure an enjoyable visit and the health and safety of your dog:
-Monitor your dog at all times
-Remove your dog if it is hostile or a nuisance to other park users
-Please closely supervise your young children
-Dogs must be registered, vaccinated and be wearing a visible registration tag
-Dogs in season and dogs that are sick are not permitted
-Food, alcohol, bicycles and sport activities are not permitted
-Please use the dispensers and bins to clean up after your dog
-Please note that the gates to the carpark at Jo Gapper Activity Park are shut at sunset each day.
